April Laucis, Owner
Licensed Massage Therapist
Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD) Treatment Specialist
April Harmony Laucis is the founder and owner of Peace & Harmony Pain Management Center. April’s practice specializes in the treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMJD/TMD), and other associated conditions resulting from the overuse of muscles that open and close the mouth.
April graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, in Worcester, MA, in 2002. After working at Nickolas Michaels, a highly acclaimed spa, she began an apprenticeship with the late Dr. William Missert, a well-respected dentist and TMJD/TMD specialist. The experience April gained while working directly with dental patients provided her with the education necessary to develop her unique treatment to effectively treat TMJ related conditions.
April’s technique is slow, deep, and comprehensive. She helps clients identify the source of their condition, and together they create an individualized plan to lessen the impact these disorders have on a client’s lifestyle. April also counsels her clients on positive self-care techniques to ensure they have the support they need.
Due to the great success of her practice, and the effectiveness of her technique, April is now training other massage therapists so they, too, can use her signature sequence and treatment plan to help their patients.
April’s 13 years of experience, skillful hands, and love of business drive her success. In February 2015, she merged her Pain Management Center, Waltham site, with Erin Sweeney’s Bodywise Therapeutic Massage to create Bodywise Wellness Center. Together they have created a full-service wellness center and a collaborative of practitioners committed to supporting clients incorporate positive lifestyle changes. Their team of professionals shares the same passion for helping people achieve their health goals through a myriad of wellness practices.

Kerry thrives on continuously studying and learning about healing. She has extensive training in craniosacral therapy and incorporates various modalities in her sessions including: muscular therapy, myofasical release techniques and neuromuscular therapy. She supports clients to raise awareness of where tension is held in their bodies, heal from injuries and discomfort, and maintain a balanced, whole and healthy self.

Prenatal and Postpartum Massage
Meg brings a unique background and focus to her bodywork practice. As a young athlete, Meg received therapeutic massage to recover from injury and tension, and was thus inspired by the healing power of touch at an early age. Meg developed a love for anatomy, and a fascination for the way in which the whole body is connected, physically as well as emotionally. Inspired to help other people discover their own whole-body connections, she went on to train at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge (now, Cortiva Institute in Watertown), where she graduated in 2002.
Meg’s goal in practicing massage is to provide a space for her clients to fully let go and release chronic holding patterns of stress and physical tension. She incorporates elements of myofascial work, orthobionomy, and acupressure into her practice, and creates a safe, nurturing space to truly listen to the body and help facilitate healing. Her slow, deep style of work is restorative and relaxing, and clients often report a feeling of “floating” after their sessions. Meg has additional training in prenatal massage, and experience working with women during their postpartum time. Meg enjoys working with all people to develop deeper body awareness and self-care, and she is honored by the invitation to witness each client’s individual healing process.
Along with her practice of therapeutic massage, Meg has devoted much of her personal and professional life to working with youth, and people of diverse abilities. As former teaching assistant at Perkins School for the Blind, and director of a camp for young people living with HIV/AIDS, Meg has a passion for supporting the care and education of youth with various disabilities and unique challenges. These experiences, combined with her 13 years of bodywork practice, have given Meg a strong foundation for working with clients of all ages and abilities.
In her personal time, Meg can be found “jammin’ out” on the ukulele with her 2 year-old son, and persistently exploring creative new hobbies. She is a self-proclaimed “wiz” of kid activities, and inspires fun for the little and the grown people in her life.
Meg sees clients at Bodywise on Thursdays and Sundays.
Irina Stojanovic Lic.Ac.
Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
Irina Stojanovic is a Board certified licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a Master's degree from the MCPHS University and Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
Irina also holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and was a founder of an online educational website that provided interactive learning games in Math and reading skills for children.
What attracted her to eventually study acupuncture and herbal medicine was her steadfast belief that our bodies are amazing laboratories that have all the necessary ingredients for healing if we know how to return them to a proper balance. The traditional Chinese medicine provides tools to determine when and what kind of imbalances our bodies have when we are sick and to design the treatment to help the body balance itself back to the best possible health.
Irina's training and experience enable her to treat a broad range of conditions, with a special emphasis on women's health, chronic and autoimmune diseases, and pain management. Because of her science background, Irina likes to follow modern research on acupuncture and herbal medicine. In spite of it being two thousand year old medicine, acupuncture and herbal applications are still developing and are an intense focus of modern research studies, with exciting results that can lead to a better treatment of many chronic conditions.
Irina's favorite quote is by a Taoist philosopher Lao-Tzu: "A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step". Even if recovery to health can be challenging, it is important to make that first step that will start us on the road to better health.
